Yes, it's likely even from this we learned something.

The death of a child is only a big deal to their twin
Kids are allowed in Reno casinos
You can have any car on the street demolished for a small fee

From IMDB:
Sadly, there is no movie starring Pee-Wee Herman and Zsa Zsa Gabor (but she did show up on one of his Christmas specials)
The truck that Spanky borrowed is the same truck that Stallone used in Over The Top

Lastly, I learned that nobody will read my post and will just duplicate my observations later.  ;)

That the villain of your movie can be a man whose job is to simply find runaway kids and return them to their parents.

That such a career choice, apparently, is pretty lucrative considering the several days or travel and boarding he likely has to spend money on not to mention the damage to his car which pretty much totaled it.

That middle-of-nowhere tow-truck drivers for $50 will tow a vehicle without cause and take it to salvage yard to be destroyed. $50 is a pretty petty sum to commit car-theft and destruction of property for.

Middle-aged businessmen loved playing arcade games in crummy dive diners.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Nintendo game had a arcade console port.

Jimmy, the supposed "Wizard" of NES games was going through the bomb-defusing level of TMNT and in a select-screen menu we see that all of the turtles were extremely low on life.  As much as that bomb-defusing level is a pain in the ass, even *I* can get through it without damaging the turtles too much, at least not to a critical degree.

You can just walk into a boarding home, take a kid, and walk out the door into a cross-state bakery truck without anyone noticing.

Arcade areas in Reno casinos felt the need to have under-aged, provocatively dressed roving waitresses.

Reno casinos allow children into the gaming areas.

It's possible to help someone craftily play craps from across the room without seeing the table and by pretty much shouting out random craps terms resulting in instant big wins rather than better chances at winning.

Someone behind-the-scenes seriously felt that the pool-side scene needed a white, pasty, septuagenarian in a Speedo.

This movie should count as false-advertisement for how the Power Glove worked and operated.  Seriously, I had one, and that thing sucked and worked nothing like it did in this movie. And I tried it on Rad Racer.

"Spanky" is a perfectly legitimate name for a man who has befriended a pre-teen girl.
---

The guys didn't pick up on this, and I noticed it right away when it happened.

In an early scene, before we meet Haley, I believe, we see Jimmy and.... Fred Savage get off truck they hitched a ride on. It's a truck with a "US Mail" fender-boxes, also sitting in the bed of the truck was Denim Crocodile Dundee.

A couple scenes later we see Haley, Jimmy and Fred riding in a similar truck, with similar looking fender-boxes, with Denim Crocodile Dundee.

I learned that the Nintendo World Championships were revived* this summer, and dare I say that the mario level segment was genuinely intense (skip to 3:33:50):

I learned that in this movie that only exists as a huge promotion for Nintendo, it's almost 17 minutes before we even see, or hear mention of, a videogame.

I also learned that in this movie that only exists as a huge promotion for Nintendo, they show that videogames are addictive and lead to obsessive behavior.

I learned you can get 50,000 points on Double Dragon in a couple of minutes.

I learned that badass bikers who don't wear helmets carry child sized helmets with them.

I learned that false child molestation accusation is hilarious, and has no downside.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Nintendo game had a arcade console port.

This is actually true!  Well, to a point.  TMNT was definitely available for the PlayChoice-10.  Not that I'm defending the film itself, in which they move around to several different cabinets that *aren't* the PlayChoice-10.

I learned that you can walk into a gaming-competition right before the semi-finales and, well, find yourself a semi-finalist.

I learned that even a video game containing beloved childhood video games can be more depressing than Schindler's List.
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

"Google 'Is it possible to get 50K on Double Dragon..."

I did. Turns out it is, just barely, but it takes way longer than a few minutes.

A kid who can do this, and finish Ninja Gaiden without getting hit, dies twice in the first couple stages of Super Mario Bros 3.

Well, to be fair it was his first time playing it.

I learned that the Videogame Championships wouldn't actually advertise that it would be the unveiling of a whole new game, much less Super Mario Brothers 3! You'd think that would drive up interest in the contest. You know, like how Nintendo heavily marketed The Wizard as the unveiling of SM3!

I learned you could get away with cussing and swearing in PG movies in the late 80s
