Ugh... I'm filling out paperwork for my new job while I'm doing this. I hate paperwork.

Do you have to join the union?

No, thank goodness. Just repetitive form filling. Direct Deposit info, safety stuff, legal status, ownership of first born son, OSHA stuff, etc.

Ah, see when I was in my teens I tried to get a Saturday job, couple of hours stocking shelves at TESCO. But because I couldn't see the point in paying union dues I didn't get it.

Yeah. I've been without a job for too long, and I'm glad to be back in the "productive human being" catagory, but an hour of writing my name, adress, and whatnot is giving me that creeping feeling in the back of my mind.

You know you've lost too many jobs over the years if you have little stamps with the pertinent pieces of your personal info on them, so you can fill out all of the application and hiring paperwork in roughly 5 minutes.

... not that I would know.

Of course.

By the way, am I the only person in the US of A who can't find a copy of Bourne Identity anywhere?

That depends on what your definition of "anywhere" is.

... and "person."

I mean I can't find an available copy on Netflix, the Ozaukee/Sheboygan Library System, or Video Plus. Not gonna go to Blockbuster.

Actually, I was referring to your local landfill (which is essentially the same thing as any random Blockbuster location). ;)

I bet all this chatter after I proclaimed victory was to congratulate me, but I don't have time to read it. No need for anymore congratulations guys, I already had a commemorative cake.

By the way, have the Moderators set a new size limit on the signatures? I saw that my last one was cut off near the bottom, and Rude's is only a pair of eyes.

You owe me a piece of that cake, since your victory has been retroactively revoked.

Pony up.

Say, I'm watching this History Channel thing called "Lost Worlds," and they just showed Hitler's plans for a Super City. One minute, they say he decided to build it with red marble, and a minute later they say, "With state of the art computer technology, we can show you what it would have looked like completed," at which point they show us a blue computer model. So his red marble building would have been blue?
i wouldn't be so annoyed about this if they didn't color everything else normal.
