Angels are only make-believe, just like Elves, Gremlins and Eskimos.

The original sin thing never sat well with me. Everyone has to pay because the seconf human EVER got tricked by the corrupter of ANGELS? Eve was set up.

Yeah see the thing is original sin really comes down to contrariness "don't eat that fruit" "I'm gonna eat the fruit"

But contrariness is a useful trait at times. Original Sin is, for want of a better word, good.

Yeah, but I'd say that, real or not, the stuff attributed to the "Fruit of the Tree of Death" is perhaps the most defining part of us. Before whatever point is equivalent to that in our evolution, we were just monkeys.

Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil

It seems to be both, actually. Brings death by bringing knowlege. The study Bible I use translates weird.

Oh that's an NIV.

I quite like the Moffat Translation

Ever hear of Bible Errata?

It's a minor feature in Good Omens

Not to offend, but I'm only reading this to read it. I don't know nothing about no versions.

Oh, I actually have heard of these! Ever heard of the book, Poisonwood Bible, by BArbara Kingsolver? It talks about those a lot towards the end.
