I saw her when I finally decided to see Matrix 3, years after being hurt by Matrix 2.

You know, the Matrix reloaded hurts, but it's a guilty pleasure.

I can't stand the fights in that Turd. How exciting is a fight between a bunch of unkillable guys? How exciting is it after 10 minutes?

Yeah I know.... Keanu chews the scenery until it has teeth marks.

I do find it funny that he kept flying in the last two movies. That makes another generation of Reeves taking to the air.

That's what started to get to me too. After the umpteenth minutes of Keanu hammering Agent Smith with no noticeable effect except making his suit slightly dusty it kind of got old. It was scary the first time you saw an agent get up after being hit by a train, but by the third movie I was just like "For chrissake, wrap it up!" Watching Neo and Agent Smith fight is like playing Goldeneye versus with both players using god mode.

Man, am I glad I'm not alone in that. Hollywood:
WHAT MAKES A FIGHT EXCITING IS THE POSSIBILITY OF HARM FOR ONE OF THE FIGHTERS!!!

While we're on the topic, I saw Enter the Dragon last night on SpikeTV. I'm not a big kung-fu movie guy, but I did notice how much more real the fights looked in older movies (at least this one). When someone landed a solid, forceful punch on his opponent, he staggered back a few steps, braced himself and actually looked like he'd been punched in the chest really hard. In movies these days when someone gets punched they either ignore it completely and keep up what ends up being a kung-fu slap fight or drop like a bag of cement and are dead to the world for the rest of the scene.

On a semi-related note:
America, you have to realize something right now- If you've punched someone so hard they've gone unconcious, you've done them serious damage. You really can't take too many of those in a single lifetime. Older boxers live with the possibility of internal blood clots breaking loose and just killing them at any time.
So again ,kids, don't try to punch anyone out unless you really want to hurt this person.

No, not really. The idea of people constantly seeing people knock others unconcious in movies and shows freaks me out.

You mean people don't just wake up a few minutes later and feel perfectly fine after holding some ice on their face for a bit? That would mean that there are a bunch of lackeys, villains and bystanders wandering around with brain damage. Think of all the people Patrick Swayze and Steven Seagal have laid out in their careers.

Exactly. Sure, the villains shoot at you, but at least they try to make it quick!

No! They're supposed to laugh and brag, tell you all the little details about their plan and then say "And then I will rule the world!!!" followed by hearty, cheesy laughter, and then 10 minutes later and only at least 10 minutes later they will try and kill the hero.
