Salvaggio's has had them occasionally, never tried them though. I have tried Durrian which are great tasting if really offensively pungent. I didn't put that on my list though since I thought it'd be a waste of an item.

I've only ever drank Dragon Fruit Juice, never eaten them, same with prickly pears.

I honestly think Greg's new list is the best topic he's done yet.

It's a little difficult to tell here

Truly. No one's bothered to do this list before.

If that was just a statement of fact or said with a hint of sarcasm :)

No sarcasm. I'm sure SOMEONE's done the list before, but I've never seen it.

Yeah I'm sure they are out there but I've never seen one either.

That's why I'd like other food lists: Herbs & Spices, Confectionery that sort of thing. I'm looking forward to seeing what other pick. I hope more people contribute this time. You'd think everyone would to most of the list. Everyone has opinions.

My list of fruits and veggies would have like 10 entries, and those wouldn't be my favorites - they'd be the ones I eat at all.

Corn
Tomatoes
Potatoes
Various Peppers
...

...

Don't look at me like that.

Aw that's a shame bnothing imporves the taste of meat like some well cooked veggies or nicely prepared fruit.

Try haunch of venison with a blood orange reduction based sauce, you'll thank me for the suggestion.

Try simmering some apple with your potatoes in any stews or soups. Blueberries also work quite well.

Ah crap Sweet Potatoes!  I need to submit a list of 50 to Greg instead of a list of 25.

But yeah Rob what Junkyard said about the apples and potatoes. I make vindaloos with apples and potatoes.

By the way, could you put Lorraine and Baby Swiss on the same list? They're two of my favorite fruits.

Swiss. Cheese DOES come from fruit, right? I also really like Gyro fruit.

(How to get around being a vegetarian.)
