Oh man, it's just meant to be fun - it's a game! There are over 2 000 000 levels on SMM. How many do you think are 'special' or 'interesting?' A fraction.

I thought you made some fun levels. Oh well, take a break. Come back when you feel better.
FINE

Aw, you didn't have to delete them. They were a thousand times better than the usual 100-mario dreck. Or if you don't have fun making, find somewhere people share levels and play some! Or review mine!

Speaking of, I just made another: Goombas Will Get You There - 42A9-0000-00BB-E356

This was great and challenging. Wish I had come by to post right after I played it while it was fresh in my mind, but good work!

Thanks! I think I struck a good balance with that one.

And I can't wait for checkpoints.

I just uploaded the eighth (and final) level in my Super Mario World cycle. Didn't write down my codes, but hopefully you all follow me.

Every level, though playable without it, has a hidden Yoshi to be found. Some of them are pretty tough, I think.

Crouching Plumber, Hidden Vines is improved.
B3E0-0000-00D6-E395

I can't believe it used to be an autoscroller. It's more realistic now.
This one (still) has a pretty cryptic exit, but I'm doing all the handholding I can think of to show the way. Also there's a more-explorey, less-brainy way to "cheese" it.
Also, I played a gentle (read: nonlethal) prank with the midpoint that I hope doesn't make anyone too angry. It is helpful in its own special way though.
Finally, it might be worth taking the straightforward (wrong) path for the scene that plays out.

And my other SMW course, slightly improved:
Galoombas Will Get You There

I think Crouching Plumber, Hidden Vines was one of the ones that did me in - Looking forward to retrying it tonight.

What have you changed in Galoombas Will Get You There?

Thanks, and please tell me what I can do to improve it further.

Galoombas has a modified underground and a checkpoint there. There's a little more puzzle to getting the galoomba to fetch you your ride but there's reset doors too.
The starman gate designed to keep you from sneaking in a galoomba is more cheeseproof, and the dead end if you keep going with star power now leads to a mushroom instead of death.

Styx and Stones (Breaking Bones is implied)
DE46-0000-00DA-878C

The ferryman of the River Styx (a drybones on a platform) makes for a nice hazard/spring combo. Shouldn't be too hard, it has two checkpoints. There's a little sub-area challenge to get the second.

This Course Will Self-Destruct

For some reason I was inspired to build a level out of suicidal shell cannons. A little more frantic and unforgiving than I usually make.

Last section has a safety net.

Parabuzzy's Air-Headed Airline

In which I do minimalism. Parabuzzies in lakitu clouds are the worst airline ever. Might take awhile to get the pattern down but that's what the ground and mushroom pipe are for.

In other news I finally got my third medal!  ;D

Congrats! Not to one up you, but I just got my fourth! Some of my levels have started really raking in the stars!

They really trickle in so slowly for me. Mine are too hard, aren't they.
