I don't know.  He's starting to 'tell jokes' and do 'gags'.  Sometimes his old self shines through, but it feels like he's been defanged.  There's less satire, and way too much interview.  The show is too long in general now.  No way I have time to watch an hour long show every night. 

Unfortunately I'll probably relegate watching the show to when I read about a particularly funny segment online.

Stephen's interview with Ted Cruz was brilliant and classy. This is why the man has several Peabody awards.

Yeah?  Might have to watch that.  I've been watching the first half of episodes.  They are getting better.  And by that I mean more like the old show.
