I liked the sloth scene in the teaser. I am often frustrated by slow people in everyday life, as few people walk as fast as I do. So I can relate.

I think I loved the ending scene the best, where they come out and she's like "IT'S NIGHT?!" Carrying comedic hyperbole to a whole new level. I loved that.

Also, according to the director, Disney's Robin Hood was the inspiration for creating Zootopia.

So that was one of the least subtle and most adorable movies I've ever seen. I can't wait to see it again.

I've been hearing surprisingly good things about this. I didn't expect it to be anything special. Especially with that early ad campaign that made it sound like anthropomorphisized animals had never been done before.

In retrospect the ads actually work, because the whole concept of these animals being anthropomorphic and living together like they do is a pretty big component of the whole world and foundation of the plot.

I'm not sure an ad can be said to have worked if it only seems that way after you've watched the movie.

Also true.

But, whatever, it's just advertising in the end. The most meaningless component of any movie.
