Rifftrax App?
« on: May 21, 2015, 12:03:15 PM »
Nice to meet you all here @ Rifftrax. Thanks in advance for your help!

Not sure if this has been asked by anyone previously, I've searched the forum but did not find any related topics. Please forgive me if this is a repeat.

I just downloaded what looks like an official Rifftrax app from the iOS App Store (created by a company called Oladas, Inc), but it does not appear to be what I expected... the app only has links to three feature commentaries, and it does not seem to provide a way to log in to one's Rifftrax account. Also, seems a bit sketchy, as it asks to use location services all the time even when the app is not active. Huh??

Is there currently (or are there plans to make in the near future) a proper Rifftrax app? Something like Netflix which allows the user to login and access their library without having to use the browser? The web version is a little annoying, as it always logs me out whenever I send the browser to the background. I'd like to see a stable Rifftrax app that gives me full access to my account, I would use it religiously.

So, how about it? Can we get a more dynamic Rifftrax app, guys?

Thanks in advance!  :highfive:
