Well amazingly, I got through the Movie and all 6 episodes of Season 7 in 1 day :o

Movie: This Island Earth

701 Night of the Blood Beast
702 The Brute Man
703 Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell
704 The Incredible Melting Man
705 Escape 2000
706 Laserblast

None that really stood out to me :-\

So, what exactly happened behind the scenes at Comedy Central for them to cancel MST3K after only 6 episodes into Season 7 (and really not all that long after their movie was released in theaters) anyway ???

I'll probably take a day off or so and then delve into Season 8 :scared:

Basically, a combination of South Park being the super popular channel golden child, and the new head of the studio who didn't care for MST3K. And probably the fact that the studio didn't own the rights to MST3K (not to mention the costs of the rights of the movies just to rerun the episodes).

Maybe some of this past flack could be why RiffTrax VODs aren't on a cable channel :-\

I'd really like to know why Season 7 was as it was.  I've heard rumors, but never heard "the truth."

807 Terror from the Year 5000
811 Parts: The Clonus Horror
812 The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!? :speechless:

816 Prince of Space and...
819 Invasion of the Neptune Men.. were both just really weird ???

I shall continue with Season 9 tomorrow (Monday) :scared:

It was just another James Bond type movie only with the villain having a cool hideout and a hot chick that got caught/molded into gold at the end.. Nothing big other than yes it was the MST3k finale :-\
