MST3K references I don't get
« on: April 07, 2007, 05:47:37 PM »
Okay, I never understood when someone looks at their hand, or someone else's hand and the joke is "I thought I was Dale!"

And I was watching "Riding with Death" today (my fav all time episode) and there's the whole "Start seeing motorcycles" thing.  They use that in some other episodes as well, and I don't get that reference either.

Please help me out, and share your confusion as well!

Oh Good, Shim was Joe Elic.

MST3K Joke I Just Don't Get
« Reply #2 on: April 09, 2007, 07:55:40 AM »
Ok, I've been pouring over this one for a while, but I still just don't get it.  I probably missed some TV show or movie or didn't pay attention but...every time I watch Space Mutiny, I still fail to understand the odd voice and mannerisms given to the guy with the mohawk (actually, I think he was credited as 'Mohawk' in the movie).  For those who can't quite remember this, every time he said something, Mike would add, "I must say," in kind of a wierd voice.  So, anybody both know what the hell I'm talking about AND what they're referencing there?

The LUCILE..... comment can often be used at work when someone does something goofy or messes something up.
