I'm rather distressed they didn't put out an "our 180k stretch goal has been met" email today. 

Yeah it bugs me when it appears like the people running the KS don't seem to be as excited about it as backers like us. One the recent projects I backed it took the project runner 2 weeks to acknowledge that it had concluded successfully! I know you could be busy, but come on! Compare it to something like Blood Rage and there are staff in the comments as excited as the backers joking and signing along with them and they post within a few minutes of a stretch goal getting met. I know not every project runs the same way, but it really effects the excitement level of the obsessives (like us!)

Backing has slowed to a crawl since hitting $180K.  Hope that changes.

Well I've pitched in all I can afford..
Re-analyzing those stretch goals, everything above $200,000 may have been unattainable
I hope I'm wrong but the main reason I bumped mine to $75 ($82 actually) was for the OH HAI t-shirt and if we wind up not getting them because that $225,000 wasn't reached, I'll think twice about pledging in the future.
I never get to the Live shows anyway but try to support the cause for the goodies

I hope a lot of people are thinking the way you do.   About 2000 more people contributed last year than have this year so far.  Hopefully, this year will get as many pledges.  I still think it's do-able, given last year's take, but I'm a positive guy.

Wrong direction... Sure, but stay positive.  Last year, it ballooned in the last couple days.  If the guys get the word out time is running short, big things can happen.

Regrettably, I'm part of the problem.  Unemployment is hitting me harder than expected, so I had to go from 50 to 10.  I really, really didn't want to, I assure you.
