Wow... you know the last time I saw him was in Julie Taymor's "Across the Universe" his voice never sounded better, and he looked good... That was some years ago but.... jeeze, that is sad. He was a rare, white, blues-man. I'd say Stevie Ray Vaughn was another...

Ha, George Carlin once said, "White people should never sing the blues, ok? We are the richest, most privileged people on the planet..."

Of course that was a joke, but I have been to Kentucky, I am from po'-white-south... Whitey can feel the blues, too... I mean, Whitey is evil and put a hurtin' on alotta poor brown folks who deserve to sing it BETTER than we do. But, still, don't deny us the healing power of the Blues!
