It could very well be terrible, but I'll watch anything involving Chris Pratt and parks.

Burt Macklin, Jurassic Security Guard.

The trailer makes it look like a way more plausible a story than I was expecting.

Well, the first one made a plot point of the T-Rex's sight being based on movement, and the third one outright said thatwas false. So these movies don't completely match up.

I already see a huge problem, illustrated in that gif file. Where the hell is the scary, intense factor supposed to come from when Raptors just pass by the protagonist as if he's not even there?! Muldoon must feel stupid right now. If only he had a motorcycle... he might still be alive.

I don't think those raptors are supposed to be the threat.  I think they're supposed to be tame ones or at least genetically engineered to be so.

Except that the lack of feathers persisted through all three.  Though the thing you mentioned is more of a writing thing and not a design thing.

If Dr Grant was right, then nature will find a way! Do not worry! The killings will happen! They will be killed! There is no escape!  ;D

I think we'll get plenty of that with the new thing.  Plus, even tamer animals can lash out in a panic.

With this movie, I am legitimately worried. I mean, unless you have a story that can easily match or trump the original, don't bother to make it. Don't make another movie just because it's a franchise that hasn't been touched in a little over a decade! But the direction the trailer seems to be taking, I am not filled with confidence. The problem is that the water park aspect instantly reminded me of Jaws 3!

I think the deal is that if the RAPTORS are running away from it.....
