Nier Automata. It's pretty cool, but god dammit is the begining frustrating. I'm trying to play the whole thing on Hard, because I hear it gets way too easy later on if you play on Normal. But there's a lot of stuff out there that can one shot kill you on Hard. Which would normally be fine, except you can't save until after the prologue. Or at least I think that's how it works, because I haven't been able to save yet. Been playing the prologue at least 12 times. Feels like I'm getting close, but fuck. It's not a short prologue either.
Yeah you can change the difficulty whenever you want. But I guess I still have too much pride.
I think after 12 tries you're entitled to change the difficulty, at least temporarily. Yeah, I watched someone play the prologue and he died during the last bit and was like "What?? I have to do all of that over again!?" I really want to play this game, but I just can't afford it at the moment. Soon, I hope.
I'm about 30 hours into Hollow Knight. I've gotta be near the end (I hope). I've tried my best to avoid spoilers, but that also means I've spent a considerable amount of time just trying to figure out where the hell I'm supposed to go next. I JUST got Tear that lets you swim through acid. I must have walked right past the entrance to that glade at least 10 hours ago
I also just picked up Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City. Unfortunately, I'm on NG+, and apparently I have to actually get back to the end again to get into it. Not looking forward to doing that.
