Does it matter whether I level up my amiibo through combat or spirits?  Just trying to find the best way.

I was going to trade in my copy of SSB for my 2DS XL but... they're only offering 11 dollars in store credit for it. Given how much work I had to put into unlocking all the characters and trophies, I think I'll be keeping it. I mean what the hell else am I supposed to do with my Amiibos?

You can use your Amiibos on Smash Ultimate and unlock spirits and Amiibo fighters. I use it for the same purpose!

Unlocking Pauline in the Spirits Adventure was a huge pain in the arse, even making me yell "THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE" at one point. But I was able to defeat her as suited-up Samus Aran by making Peach fall into the pit. As it turns out, Pauline is Legend-material, so it was worth the blood, sweat, and tears.

Yes, it was a timed battle.

Yes, it was a timed battle.

I still feel like the Dr. Wily battle was worse... Like 7 metal Megaman on stamina... Fucking awful, and the spirit isn't even good.

The Shanoa fight is what's giving me trouble.  Took a break from World of Light because I keep hitting a wall.  Been focusing on the Spirit Board instead for now.

YUSS! However, I must say that I'm disappointed that Nintendo granted Piranha Plant upon us immediately instead of requiring us to earn him in a fight like the other fighters. Anyone else agree or disagree?

Well it is still technically a DLC character.  Neat that it's covered with the Palutena's Guidance thing.

It took me a bunch of work to unlock her. Tried a few brawls to see if she would show up as a challenger. Then when that didn’t work there was a lot of googling, and then searching deep in my inbox for that code. So I feel I earned her. Should have a chance to try her once my boss gets back from the restroom.

I was kind of hoping he'd get a Classic Mode course. (Unless I'm just missing him in the huge roster.)

They do.  Piranha Plant should be on the bottom row.

Argh!  Trying to beat this one fight in the DK section of World of Light and it's really giving me problems.  Stupid Bullet Bills.
