And it is not a gay thing. But try and guess the thing that Kevin Murphy said that made me his biggest fan.
Aaahh! This movie just throws you violently into the next scene!

Was it in the MST3K "Gunslinger" episode when he said "Guys, why is it so hard to accept the fact that time is not an immutable forward progression, but simply a factor in a space-time model of relativistic causality and determinism?" I love him for his grasp of quantim-linear superposition as Tom, the disgusting things he made Observer go through as Bobo, and his undying love for good beer as Kevin.

I love his singing gags. I do a TON of sung riffs for Rocky Horror (which, ironically, Kevin HATES), and I've always felt Kevin was a kindred spirit (whatever the hell THAT means) in this regard.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.
Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

Umm, guys this is thread is in the Lost Rifftrax section, I'm pretty sure that he's referring to something from the Lost Rifftrax...

Was it the Koosh ball thing? or the "Love rain on me" song?

He says the line using the voice of the bitchy blonde. And yes it is Marx Brothers related.

Oh the thing about something being more like cranberry juice then something is. I've heard that before. Ripping good laugh.

"And if you take cranberries and stew them like apples then they taste much more like prunes then ruhbarbs does." That line was spoken by Groucho Marx in Animal Crackers. Mr. Murphy is awesome for using that line.

Actually, it's The Who's Reign O'er Me. I think that Pearl Jam did a remake for that new Adam Sandler movie.

Who reference? Sweet!

My feelings are mixed over Pearl Jam's cover of "Love Reign O'er Me." On one hand, it's cool to hear a somewhat forgotten Who song on modern rock radio, even if it's a cover, a la STP's "Dancing Days.". On the other hand, I freaking hate Pearl Jam, despite my grudging respect for Eddie Vedder as a fellow Whohead.

What's a thread? What's lost? What does referring mean? Rifftrax?

Y'know it's a good thing smart people are here to help me along. Now if I could only figure out how that pesky doorknob works.
