I'm a BIG Lost fan and I liked it a lot. I don't think it was the best one, however. The abundance of John Locke as Elmer Fudd and "Hurley is Fat" jokes dragged after awhile. I thought the best jokes were the ones that addressed the totality of the show like what Mike said of the French woman's message towards the end, "Hmmm. I'm glad this will all be explained by the end of the episode" to which Kevin laughed.

I thought that stuff hit better than the endless parade of fart jokes. But I'm not Mike Nelson; I'm sure he's made me laugh more than I would make him laugh.

Still, Episode I and Star Trek VI were funnier.

Does anyone else think that the polar bear with the drink on the beach next to Mike in the catalog is a reference to the polar bear in Sherman's Lagoon?

Really liked this one a lot.

I'm glad they gave LOST a working over, it's become a pretty silly show IMHO.

I enjoyed it.  I still think it's a great pilot, if the series hasn't quite delivered in its promise.  There were some good gags here, though I generally preferred the first part to the second.  The Jack "head bob" thing is something I've never noticed, and will probably be something I look out for whenever I watch the show again.

I happen to love LOST, though it took me a while...like at least halfway through the first season to really start getting it...

I think the first part of the pilot with rifftrax was hilarious. I LOLed more than I have in the last few weeks...
The second part was --eh.
The Hurley jokes were already tired in the first part, and so it was just annoying because there were so many of them in the second part.
Yes, he's fat. We get it. I think there was a lot more that they could have focussed on.  And then talking about recycled footage...hellooo recycled jokes...

I think they should have only done the first part, they were really rockin then.  My friends want to have a little group viewing of it and I'll probably only show the first episode.

Yeah they did seem to weigh heavily on the "fat" and "fart" jokes.

They still had some great zingers

I had never seen an episode of Lost before so I didn't get what all the hype was about. And after seeing this, I still don't.

That being said, I thought this riff was pretty funny, even though there seemed to be a lot of fart jokes.

And with that being said, I think my favorite riff was when the guy is writing "FATE" on his bandages and Kevin says "That's not how you spell FART."

Don W,

I've shown Lost to several people and everyone of them has loved it. But I made them follow this rule: watch the first 12-15 episodes. If you don't want to go on after that, don't.

So far, everyone's been hooked by then. I recommend you give it a shot.

My favorite line was when Sawyer was smoking the cigarette.  "I'm only smoking this because I cant smoke a railroad spike covered in rhino blood."  I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything at the time cause it probably would have come out my nose.

Don't do it!  Don't get hopelessly addicted to the what ifs that never get answered.

As for the riff, very nice.  Boone with the pen was a great running gag.

Nah. It's obviously a reference to Alaska's prime paintball related webcomic, The Whiteboard.

So what's the verdict for those of me who've never seen the show? Still funny? Should I watch it unriffed first? Does this look infected to you?
