I like Telly, but he didn't make my list since outside of his neurosis, he is a bit dull.

(^Floyd performing While My Guitar Gently Weeps. It’s awesome!)
Bio
Floyd Pepper is the bass player for the Electric Mayhem band on The Muppet Show. He first appeared in the 1975 pilot The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence. One of the more vocal band members, Floyd's hip sarcasm is often directed at other Muppet Show regulars, particularly Miss Piggy. Frequently paired with Janice, Floyd also has a certain influence on Animal, or at least as much as anyone can. In picture books such as The Case of the Missing Mother, or certain installments of the Muppet comic strip, Floyd is practically Animal's keeper, pulling his chain and looking after him.
Floyd's costume and last name are a reference to the Beatles' album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and he lists his musical influences as including Fats Waller, Fats Domino, Minnesota Fats and David “Fathead” Newman.

I'm really curious why Elmo wasn't on more lists. Is it because of the accusations against Kevin Clash? I just don't like him because I am not a toddler.

Thoughts?

The Two Headed Monster
  21 Points, 2 of 13 lists, #11 Kete
First Appearance:Sesame Street
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/v/qfk_FgFtk_g" target="_blank" class="new_win">https://www.youtube.com/v/qfk_FgFtk_g</a>
Bio
The Two-Headed Monster is, as the name implies, a monster with two heads. He speaks gibberish that resembles baby talk, and many of his skits have to do with either cooperation or sounding out parts of words that suddenly show up. Skits with the Two-Headed Monster usually take place with the monster behind a brick wall, and in at least one instance, with his mother.
The creation of this monster was inspired by performers Jerry Nelson and Richard Hunt playing around on the set one day, saying that they were a monster with two heads.[1] While right-handed performers use their right hands to perform the heads of characters and their left to perform left hands, whoever performs the left half of the monster performs the head with the left hand, and the right hand with their right hand.

Yay!  I love the two-headed monster.  It helps that as a kid, one of the monsters looked like a neighbor of mine.

I disliked Elmo long before any puppeteer scandal. His voice irritates me.

Me too. His dumbing down of the series is a disservice to children.

I think Elmo came along too late for most of us to become wrapped up in his charms. I doubt Abby, the Flying Fairy made many lists either for the same reason.

And, yeah, like Sugar Ray said, the series feels a lot less educational since Elmo hit it big.

Camilla The Chicken
  22 Points, 2 of 13 lists, #12 Lassieface
First Appearance:The Muppet Show
Notable Appearances: The Muppet Movie, The Muppets Take Manhattan, Muppets from Space
Performer: Jerry Nelson (1978-2003); Matt Vogel  (2008-present)
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/v/bRY-eAxHyqY" target="_blank" class="new_win">https://www.youtube.com/v/bRY-eAxHyqY</a>
Bio
Camilla the Chicken is the love of Gonzo's life. Her proper introduction on The Muppet Show is in episode 318 when she and Gonzo have their first date. She was previously seen and mentioned in episode 309 when Gonzo attempted to audition her and another chicken named Nellie for Liberace's concert (he eventually agrees to sign them on for his Las Vegas act).
The Muppet Movie marked Camilla's big screen debut, introduced as Gonzo's companion in his plumbing business. In The Muppets Take Manhattan, she's briefly taken hostage by Martin Price, an incident that requires Gonzo to giver her mouth-to-beak resuscitation. Performing in The Muppet Telethon in The Muppets, Camilla leads a group of chickens in singing "Forget You".
Camilla lives alone in a gazebo-like house called "Camilla's Place", where she sits on a nest in the middle of an otherwise empty floor. However, she appears to spend a good deal of time at the Bide-A-Wee Trailer Court.

Guy Smiley
  23 Points, 5 of 13 lists, #19 Scott
First Appearance: Sesame Street
Performer: Jim Henson  (1969-1990); Eric Jacobson  (2005-present)
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/v/PnrjzFvhFI4" target="_blank" class="new_win">https://www.youtube.com/v/PnrjzFvhFI4</a>
Bio
Guy Smiley is, by his own account, America's Favorite Game Show Host. He has hosted such Sesame Street game shows as "Beat The Time", "Here is Your Life", "What's My Part?", and others. He approaches every hosting gig with a near-frantic level of excitement and enthusiasm.
Guy Smiley has occasionally demonstrated his musical talent on Sesame Street. His song performances include "Air" and "They Can't Take That Away From Me" (with Cookie Monster). His singing voice at times can go very low, very similar to Link Hogthrob's, as in "I'll Love You in Springtime" and his tribute to the winner in "The Letter of the Day Pageant." He also sang "Gone with the Wind" in the first season.
