Yeah this was their exact response:

The prices change daily depending on availability and rarity of the item. Sorry for the inconvenience
I even refreshed the invoice page several times while waiting on the code; even this morning and it was still $64.95, as soon as I get the code and Then it changes!
 F'n Bullshit! :grr:

Well anyone who has screwed over RVR has metaphorically screwed over me!  Unless they have literally done something that benefits me, then screw RVR!

Finally got my replacement NES and tried out one of my all time favorite games, Super Spy Hunter.. It's been many years since I played it and sucked at first but got better the next go round..

Happy 34th Birthday, Pac-Man! Chomp on!

Edited to fix a strong sense of denial about how old I am. (Originally said 14th)

Edited to clarify, I DO mean the Game, Pac-Man. MY Birthday was a couple months ago, but that Pac-Man is 34 years old makes me feel old. I'm even older.

    • Yep, I have a deviantART gallery. But it's pretty cheerful drawings-- no angsty poems or black-and-white photos of wooden chairs.

Got my MAME emulator to play nice with my controller. SO much better than playing with a keyboard. I've been playing Centipede the most. I used to play the hell out of that when I was around 11-12. My mom worked at the same school as me, so I'd walk over to her building after school and hang out there for about an hour until she was ready to go home. They had that Microsoft Arcade package on their computers and I used to play it like crazy.

I'm a bit out of practice, but I managed to get enough high scores to do THIS. There's two things in this world that never stop being funny: Old Biff hitting Marty McFly with his brass topped cane, and entering rude words as your initials on arcade games:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

So that's what a 31-year-old grown man decided to do with a bit of his spare time these last few days. And I didn't Photoshop this: why would I FAKE such mediocre scores?
I used to have an image here, but Photobucket got cheap about remote linking. I guess I'll have to think of something witty instead. Which I will. Later. It caught me by surprise, in all honesty. It's hard to be clever on command, I mean, YOU try it. Be funny: NOW! See, tough. So, gimme a bit, 'kay?

Take it from someone who was a big enough fan to make the little yellow guy his online namesake, Pac-Man Championship Edition DX is the best version of Pac-Man to come out in 30 years. Maybe ever.
