Orphan Black

Anyone else watching this brilliant BBC America drama? It features without a doubt the best performance by any actor currently on any television show: Tatiana Maslany. The premiere was so good. I love Alsion.

P.S. Alison's whistle for best supporting actor:

Allison's probably my favorite, because it always looks like Tatiana Maslany is having an absolute BALL playing her.

I lost it when the whistile was revealed.

The season premiere was dynamite. The cold opening, Delphine referring to Cosmia by her tag number to Leekie, Alison & community theatre, the Prothelians becoming major players, & Ramon.

Sarah Manning would give Buffy a run for her money; she's a boss.

I'm so glad it's back.

I started watching season 1 and lost interest about 4 episodes in, I think it's awesome she can play all those roles but there's nothing to grab me so far.

It really picks up as it goes in my opinion.

The most recent episode might be the first complete flop of the season.

We found one character Tatiana can't pull off. Still a pretty impressive record though.

I'm not sure it was all her fault.

I'll put it behind a spoiler for folks who aren't up to date.

That was so depressing following the high-point of the season (Family Day at Rachel's rehab-facility). It was so, so, so awful.

The season's still a blast, and I hope Ari Millen's up for the challenge forthcoming.

Is season 2 better than season 1? I really thought the first season was kind of uninteresting even by the end... I haven't bothered watching season 2.  The show felt like it was just riding the popularity of the gimmick instead of any actual good story.

Or is it one of those "Well if you didn't find the season 1 story interesting, you probably won't like season 2 either" sort of things?
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.
