I had 9 outta the top 10 on my list.  Labyrinth made 11 of 14.  That's pretty impressive. 

Here's mine. 

1.  Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (Still amazed this movie got made.)
2.  Interview with the Vampire (a little bit of a fringe title for the category but what the hell)
3.  Being John Malkovich (Malkovich is a much better any-word than Smurf)
4.  Princess Bride (I still make people watch this who haven't seen it before)
5.  Monte Python and the Holy Grail (picked this one over Time Bandits.  Going for diversity.)
6.  Wizard of Oz (still amazing and my Mother-in-law has a room in her house dedicated to this movie.)
7.  Groundhogs Day (I can watch this movie over and over and that's saying something given how much things repeat in it.)
8.  sixth sense (fantasy isn't my favorite category so I went outside the box again)
9.  Willow (Grew up loving Willow, and I remember hearing that Warwick Davis hung himself on the Hollywood sign shortly after it's release.)
10. Ghostbusters (quote from this movie ALL the time)
11. Big (not quite as cool as Groundhog Day but also a cool premise)
12. Death Becomes Her (Not surprised it didn't crack the top 50 but a good comedy)
13. Big Fish (loved the reveal of the actual people during the funeral)
14. Beauty and the Beast (Nominated for Best Picture for a reason)
15. secret of nihm (Watched a ton as a kid but not really since)
16. Pan's Labyrinth (amazing visuals as always)
17. Big Trouble in Little China (wonder what Mortal Kombat raiden would look like if not for this film)
18. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (visually stunning)
19. Alice in Wonderland Disney (Watching this as an adult is completely different than I remembered it as a kid)
20. Lady in the Water (Really enjoyed this despite a lot of people hating it)
21. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (picked the first one as the whole series deserved inclusion)
22. Sucker Punch (Loved the newer versions of the songs although the fight scenes could have been more varied)
23. Labyrinth (favorite part was the fumigating for faeries)
24. Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring (Return of the King was the best until the 7 different endings so I went with this one)
25. Never Ending Story (Falcor is all I remembered but this was also tailor made for this category.

It's been so long, I don't know how well it really holds up, but I was amazed Return to Oz didn't make it.

Watched a lot of these in preparation and rewatched some for the heck of it.  Ghostbusters, Labyrinth and Big Trouble in Little China, though as much as I love John Carpenter, there's something... messy about the movie.  Can't put my finger on it.  One thing I forgot about and loved, though, as wheelchair bound Lo Pan.  A really fun villain.

I love Ghostbusters and Roger Rabbit to death (If I haven't made that obvious) but they didn't make my list just because I don't associate them with fantasy. I see where they are, and I wouldn't contest their place on this list, but if someone comes up to me and says, "I feel like watching a fantasy movie!" I'd go through a lot of other movies before I got to Ghostbusters.

Of the ones I had that didn't make it, EVERYONE should go out and give Strings a watch. An absolutely amazing film. A sweeping dramatic action epic, done all in marionettes, and done seriously (not like Team America).

Yeah, The Princess Bride is overrated, but I still like it. It's overrated-ness doesn't make me as mad as Forrest Gump's level of overrated does

Yeah I don't think it's super awesome but it's fun and quotable and has a lot of cultural weight, which is why it arrived on my list, just down in the low scores.

Everyone should see Blackbeard's Ghost though.

I still love it, almost 30 years later.  Rewatched it the other day with my cousin's 12 year old girl.  She loved it so much we watched it again.  It is multi-generational. 

And it still gives me hope that true love still exists.
