I know that taking books and making them into movies and shows is sooooo hard as there are thoughts in books that you just cannot put in a movie, so they have to be cut.  Like the book Gorky Park, there is so much missing from the movie that was in the book, I cannot even tell they are related.

I think despite we all know what will happen to most of the characters, how this new stuff gets there is not a disappoint for anyone.  Just another cool way of getting there.

Some of the most bloody and body piles I have ever seen on a NETWORK TV.

It's looking at you, Bob:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The cold opening from this past Friday's episode was so gruesome. I had to look away, but it was for naught as the sound then did me in.

I'm really enjoying sassy-Will and thankful Bedelia got out before the predator arrived.

Awwwww, Bev.  :(

The living-dead guy from last week's episode, so creepy. So what did Zeller & Price do w/ him after they were done w/ him? What's the protocol on a situation such as that? :P

This Friday looks to be crazy-exciting.

Several months ago we cut our cable subscription, so now we just binge-watch shows. We just watched Hannibal a little while ago and it was fantastic. About four episodes in I turned to my husband and said, Is this really an NBC show? It's remarkably well done for network tv. Mads Mikkelson is playing a pitch perfect subtle and understated Hannibal at this point -- I loved how in the beginning, if you didn't already know the character of Hannibal Lecter, you would have not thought there was anything out of the ordinary about him. And I agree with what you folks said earlier, the clock test reveal was one of the most unnerving things in this show. I was like, Yeah, burying diabetics for mushroom farms, yeah, a totem pole of bodies, yeah seen it... but then they show Will's clock as it really is and I was like, whoa. Couldn't stop thinking about that one.

We haven't started season 2 yet, I think we'll wait until it's on Netflix or Hulu for free, but I'm looking forward to it.

FYI, the show has an exclusive streaming deal with Amazon, just so you don't end up waiting too long.

wurwolf: Season two brings it even harder. Sometimes, I have to pinch myself to reassure myself that this is a show on network TV.
