Breaker Breaker
« on: March 28, 2013, 01:14:53 PM »
Do not buy this riff. I have been a fan of these guys since MST3K. I payed 9.95 for this and all I got was the lamest unfunny dumb-cracks I've ever heard.  I did not laugh once, and I always laugh at these guys. What happened to you?
I contacted them by email asking for my money back and they couldn't even send me a response. I guess the fact that they totally ignored me was my response. It was "go to hell".
Thank you rifftrax for absolutely zero customer care.

I don't think this post is funny or interesting at all. Can I have my 30 seconds back, cutlass?

Upon closer inspection we refunded your purchase, but did not send a reply. Sorry you didn't enjoy it.

EDIT: Just to clarify, we probably did not reply because of the tone in your email, which included comments like, "What happened to you guys?" and "Why would I watch it again?" We're happy to take feedback and criticism in kind, and to deal with individuals when they're not satisfied, but in general, we do not tend to respond to those types of emails.

:scratches head: Props to you guy for refunding his purchase for not being satisfied with it, but how does that work?! I mean, you pay the $10, get the download, complain, and get your $10 back. But don't you still have the download?

Anyway, to the OP, I might admit that this movie is hardly exemplary of Rifftrax's best work but it's still a solid, funny, Riff.  There are samples you can watch to get the tone of the riff -though the samples are hardly ever samples either- if you're willing to try Rifftrax again -assuming "Breaker, Breaker" was your first- there others I'm sure people will recommend. Guy From Harlem, Ghost House both great riffs.

Thank you to the admin for the refund. I did not realize it had been done, since there was no reply. That is why my post has an angry tone. My apologies to the admins. I have actually deleted it. As I said, there would be no point in watching it. I only viewed about 20 minutes.

Never understood that mentality. If he doesn't like a movie in the theater does he ask for his money back? From his post I can't really tell if he ever watched a RiffTrax before or if this was his first one.

So if I threw a fit could I get a refund for every single riff I own (all of them)?

By Zeus, you are right! This would net me hundreds of dollars!

Administrators, attend! I faked every chuckle, laugh, snicker, cackle, guffaw, chuckle, snort, giggle, and yes, even titter! I demand a restitution of my hard-earned specie to be forthcoming!

Oh yes, I almost forgot: wagh.

I await your hasty response. Thank you.
