Mike, Kevin and Bill as the GHOSTBUSTERS
« on: March 13, 2007, 04:49:04 PM »
What would you think if Mike, Kevin and Bill played Peter Venkman, Ray Stanz and Egon Spengler in a GHOSTBUSTERS TV series?

I would think "why the hell are Mike, Kevin and Bill playing Peter Venkman, Ray Stanz and Egon Spengler in a GHOSTBUSTERS TV series?".   ;)

When you cut and pasted my posting you forgot to take off the question mark.

If I ask myself a question, wouldn't it have a question mark at the end? Like this?

You do not need a question mark if you intend your question to be rhetorical in tone, which I think would be better because you are not actually asking anyone a question to be answered. Also, you do not need the comma in "If I ask myself a question, ...). Just say, "If I ask myself a question I would...".  >:D

...

I'm pretty sure that a rhetorical question still requires a question mark. It is still actually a question afterall.

Yes. Rhetorical questions have question marks. No. That was not a rhetorical question, as he would be expecting an answer as to why Mike, Kevin, and Bill were the Ghostbusters. :^)

The combination of my one of my most beloved childhood memories combined with....well, MST was actually around in my childhood as well...it would probably be the happiest geek moment of my life (thus far, who's to say it would be the last? oh snap...bet that question mark could start more debate...).

You know what I think would be funny?  Mike, Crow and Servo as ghostbusters.  Imagine Crow with a little Proton Pack wise cracking at the aliens and being all "Mike, is this really what people do for a living on Earth?  This sucks."  Servo would be all, "*You're* the gatemaster?  You little pipsqueak, I'm the ruler of all Earth. I don't know what the hell you're talking about with your keys and your gates."  Mike would be trying to keep them from killing themselves, each other or destroying the Earth all together.

Imagine the fun that would ensue.

Ha, so I'm not the only person who mixes those two!

I mean, ha, I would like to see this crazy MST/Ghostbusters deal. What exactly started this train of thought though? Was there more alcohol involved?

What are you talking about we answer ourselves all the time when we are out here in the desert.

As to the main topic.  WTF?  I spose it could be funny, but talk about a question out of left field.
