So was there a body in the car being crushed? It wasn't his brother, so who was it?

I learned that as long as I keep a hand over a gunshot to the stomach, it will in no way hamper my martial arts vengeance.

I think that only really applies if you are Chuck Norris. Because the retarded brother got the same gunshot (albeit at point blank range instead of 10 feet, but that shouldn't have mede much of a difference) and died immediately. Hell, Chuck Norris wasn't even holding the bulletwound later on.

I don't think so, I think it was just a car being crushed.

I learned a $250 fine is enough to make someone assault police officers

I learned that Boss Hogg and Roscoe P. Coltrane were a lot more competent as operators of a shady small town.

I learned that martial arts masters trim their sleek, black meditation robes with sequinned gold rick-rack.

If a few people in a town are evil, it's safe to assume that the all are.

If nobody was in the car being crushed, why the big "NOOOO!"?

On that front I'm honestly not sure. At first viewing I thought his brother was in there but that obviously ended up not being the case.  I think we may have been seeing one of the shredded remains of a plot thread that seemed to be laying around the movie with Norris' character being "shell shocked" possibly over a prior incident with his truck.  Maybe he was in an accident at some point where his rig ended up crushing a car and killing a kid?  The accident ended up not being his fault or was an "accident enough" to not seriously impact his life in any legal way but left him shell-shocked enough the point to take on meditation, trying to avoid physical confrontations and to still be a bit weirded out by the sound of crushing metal.
