So what did we learn this time around?

I learned that teenagers still on their learner's permit can operate as truck drivers.

Heck, pretty much the same thing happens in "Convoy" where truckers quickly break the law and cause massive traffic turmoil and that's BEFORE the main story of the movie even gets rolling!  It's like the movie forgot these truckers are pulling loads that have a destination to get to and you can't exactly roll your rig on the on-ramp, get-up and go run off with a friend and forget about it.

Part of this plot reminds me of an episode of Superman.  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0506641/  Funny the things one remembers.  And for all I know the so-called judge had a roll in that episode.

I learned that if you are going to do some kind of weird "the good, the bad, and the ugly" scene at the end of your movie, but you only have 2 guys, just use a horse as your 3rd guy.

I learned that huge Econoline vans are great all-terrain vehicles, and can vastly outperform police cruisers.

I learned that big burly truckers like to eat a nice salad with a modest sandwich for lunch.

In a movie where the star is a known martial artist, it is a good idea to have the final action scene be a bunch of faceless truckers (literally, we don't see any of them, just their trucks) demolishing the town and killing the head bad guy, and let the star just have a short fight scene with a minor side character.

I did learn that truck drivers have no problem driving through buildings, full of people, collapsing the places and thinking it is just a fine thing to do.
