For a comedy website, Cracked has a surprising amount of insight, interesting stuff to learn, linked references, and believe it or not...comedy!

7 Amazing Movie Special Effects You Won't Believe Aren't CGI
In talking about Chris Nolan's insane decision to actually drop a plane at the beginning of Dark Knight Rises, I'm still laughing at this line:
Quote
The entire shoot was scheduled for nine days. Nolan did it in two, because f*** time, and f*** sanity, and most of all, f*** airplanes.

So....What's Crack-a-lackin?

And now you won't get any work done all week! Enjoy!

That's my biggest problem with Cracked.  Every time I start navigating there I think to myself, "Welp, this is going to make me less productive today!"

I think my favorite article is The 5 Creepiest Unexplained Broadcasts.  Some of these things are seriously creepy.  That UVB-76 is pretty crazy, and apparently it had a huge increase in traffic since the article was written.

Very early on there was a recurring series called notes on a first draft.  I highly recommend them.  Very funny.

Snakes on a Plane
Quote
We just don't think the audience is going to believe that the snakes got onto the plane after catching up with the airliner in a hot air balloon. Also, your decision to add dialogue between the snakes completely diffuses the horror from this film. For example, the part where they're trying to get the balloon off the ground and several of them start complaining about not having appendages. Even worse, the part where they finally get the balloon off the ground with "a little help from teamwork," and one of the snakes comments to the other that there' nothing that can't be done "with a little cooperation."

Some aliens I like are ALF, E.T. and Punky Brewster. Some aliens I do NOT like are Darth Vader, any of Darth Vader' friends and Mork. (You again have illegal aliens confused with space aliens. This sentence is completely random and should be removed from the speech. Also, for your information, Punky Brewster was not an alien.)

Casino Royale

We’d like you to think up a new main villain. The one you have here, “Clam Chowder,” is a little over the top for a James Bond film. You indicate you would like him introduced in a song with the same tune as “Goldfinger” but with the lyrics “Clam Chowder, he’s a clam! A clam, with clams for hands!” How he poses a threat to society is also confusing. The script says he has a plot to take over the world, yet all government agents can seem to do is complain about his incessant jaywalking.

Superman Returns

You indicate that you'd like for Lois Lane' 10 minute catnap to take place in real time. We feel strongly that this might significantly slow the pace of the film.

The Nativity Story

While the Mayans were known to have tattoos, the words “Tru Playa 4 Real” meant nothing to the people of that time period, especially in English.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: the Beginning

You've taken great pains to show how primary and secondary influences shaped Leatherface into a killer, so why in this scene, do we find out that Leatherface has a rare optical condition where he can't tell the difference between people and overgrown trees?

This Cracked article suggests that APGIL will be dropping dead soon because I am older than him (#2 on the countdown).
