Nope. While Paulsen and LaMarche openly praise him as putting them to shame, there's someone better than him still.

I can think of one total voice-acting legend and two primary voice actors from Matt Groening-produced shows that haven't shown up yet that I wouldn't be surprised to see in the #1 spot...

EDIT: Actually I can think of 3 from Matt Groening shows. I think I have the top 4 figured out...

BTW, I promised Anais that I'd prepare a special entry for her as a mid-point bonus, but it looks like I was too busy for the last few weeks to prepare it.  Looks like it will have to wait.  I think Welker's body of work is incredible, but I didn't vote for him because I never really got a feel for him personally.  This is probably he rarely does interviews and because most of his characters are animal sounds.  Still, I think he does deserve  high placement.  Just not as much as number one.

Although he began his nearly six-decade-long career performing in radio commercials, Blanc is best remembered for his work with Warner Bros. as the voices of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin the Martian, Pepé Le Pew, Speedy Gonzales, the Tasmanian Devil, and many of the other characters from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies theatrical cartoons during the "Golden Age of American animation." He later worked for Hanna-Barbera's television cartoons, most notably as the voices of Barney Rubble and Dino the Dinosaur in The Flintstones and Mr. Spacely in The Jetsons. Blanc was also a regular performer on The Jack Benny Program, in both its radio and television formats. Mel Blanc was a shoe-in for #1. I'm a bit surprised Castellenta came in at #2, though. Dimaggio also placed higher than I thought he would.

Thanks for driving the list, anais and Johnny. Well done!

Anais did an excellent job.  This was a really fun list and I was glad I could be a part of it.  I just did some math stuff and gave a couple ideas.  Also, I'm posting the upcoming post to one of the unsung heroes of modern cartoons...
