50b. Thurl Ravenscroft

(19 points, 2 lists of 16, highest ranking: # 14 Smoky)

I was the other person with Thurl Ravenscroft. I completely forgot he also did "You're a Mean One, Mr Grinch". If I had remembered that I would have put him higher.

He was NOT the voice on the Haunted Mansion ride. That was Paul Frees, WHO BETTER BE MAKING AN APPEARANCE ON THIS LIST.

Williams was a regular on the BBC radio panel game Just a Minute from its second season in 1968 until his death. From 1972, when he felt he wasn't being appreciated, he would scream, "I've come all the way from Great Portland Street." (It was a short distance to the studio from his home.) He also talked for almost a minuteabout a supposed Austrian psychiatrist called Heinrich Swartzberg, guessing that show creator Ian Messiter had just made the name up.

I saw the Bert Banana episode LOOOOOOOONG before I got sober, but I have watched it probably a million times since over the past 7 months of sobriety (despite the episode ending with the three fruits giving into their demons).

Fun Fact: The other fruits, Tammy Tangerine and Mortimer Mango, are voiced by Kristen Schaal and H Jon Benjamin. Shall these actors appear on the list as well???? Stay tuned!

Infamy! Infamy! Scott's got it in fer me!

You're supposed to find him creepy. Ken was a really prickly human being (and, possibly, a patricide) but he had a really distinctive voice and a great natural knack for comedy (something Hancock, god love him, didn't).

I'd say it's a safe bet at least one of them will but I'd imagine both would, but then I would have thought Ellen would have been on more list so, eh.

Seriously though Ellen does a fantastic job and if I could get a role as fun as GLaDOS, and turn in a performance even half as good as she does with that character, I'd be pretty happy with life.:)
