Niiine-teen Eighty Nine!.

Come see, come see, remember me!

Wait, what are we singing?
If it's something by Elvis I'd not have a clue, he never meant shit to me.

Actually I was thinking Bowie.

The opening to the Cosby Show is different than I remember.

Yeah, I think it's a shame that it didn't make the list.  I think it's Spike's best movie (although I read Summer of Sam is pretty good and I do like the 25th Hour) and it has a great final act.  Nice to know I'm not alone in voting for it (or rather, wishing they had).  Now, am I the only person to vote for Local Hero or Babette's Feast?

They were both in the pool I chose from. Local Hero was one of my last ten or so cuts.

I heart Local Hero a lot. I've always been a big Burt Lancaster fan, and Peter Reigert is amazing. Such a sweet, whimsical little film.

Pretty good list, but Evil Dead over Evil Dead 2?  I just don't get you man.

I was writing my list fast to get it under the door, and except for the top five or so, I was just jotting them down as fast as I could recall them. And not all of them were on my list for being 'good' movies, it had a lot to do with how they affected my life at the time.

I agree, Evil Dead II should have been higher up on the list now that I think about it...

Pro Tip: Write your list without any numbers first and number them afterward. It makes it easier to juggle entries via cut and paste.

Really?  I don't hear that very often, can you explain why?
