This and Agent Carter both picked up for new seasons!

Unfortunately the spin-off with Mockingbird & Hunter got shut down.  (Which may make for an awkward transition between next week's finale & the start of the next season if they bring them back since I assume they set it up for them to head off on some other adventure.)

I do like Bobbi Morse quite a lot, but I can see why they might not give a middling show a spin off. Hopefully she gets a series when agents of shield finishes, or a TV movie or something.
FINE

Yeah, Agents of SHIELD can be pretty shakey in terms of quality, but Agent Carter was generally successful and sort of added something missing in the Marvel Cinematic (and televisual) Universe: secret identities.  I think they used that aspect rather well, by having the character both be a secret agent and a double agent.  I won't miss the latter in the new season, but I hope that they keep the former.  I like the idea that we have a woman who can boss around secret agents and such but has to deal with even more bullshit when she gets into the real world.  Also, I hope we'll have Toby Jones skulking around in the background.

Well if he's in Marvel he's got a good shot at an entertaining movie or tv representation.

The rubber part is pretty much what Mr. Fantastic has for a power. I agree though, it is kind of lame.

It's all in how you use it. Elastigirl in The Inredibles was badass.

So I figured that my policy of not watching a series until it was over didn't really make much sense with this one since I was watching the films at the cinemas. I just finished up the first season. I was surprised there weren't more cameos, it seems clear that Chris Evans and co get paid by the face, given they were fine with showing clips of their backs occasionally but never the face. Fury's make up was hideous on his first appearance! At least they fixed it later on. It felt like it suffered a bit on low budget villains, especially Deathloks armour. Most of the budget seemed to have gone into the Bus set.  Kind of like SG1 in a way.  I totally fell for the Hydra/Shield faction split, they managed to keep some internal suspense even though I had seen Winter Soldier.

There was an article about how the contracts were screwed up because they didn't forsee the size of the MCU at the start and made no allowances for TV in the contracts. In theory newser actors to the series are more likely to show up.
