No revenue??
« on: August 06, 2012, 12:41:21 PM »
Is this normal?

I sold one (Yay!), but on the Sales Summary page it has all zeros under Total Revenue, Average Order, and Grand Total Sales. Is there a delay in the process, or should I register a complaint?

A similar oddity, when I go to My Products it lists the cost of the riff as $0.00, even though on the riff's page itself it says $2.00, and that's what shows in my cart and checkout if I make like I'm buying it myself. I assume that's just an error on the My Products page then, but could that be related to the above problem?

It's a problem with the report pages and it's been around for a long time now. It's annoying not to have an accurate number for revenue, but they are still getting the right numbers to pay you with. Everything I've put up after a certain date shows the same way on the site, but I've still been paid for my sales.

I sent in an inquiry in on the numbers of sales we see on our end (on the product level) vs the numbers Legend sees since they don't match.

A few days ago TorgosPizza said he might be able to look at the reports this weekend, but that the numbers that Legend sees (albeit what they see is lower than what we see which is a let down) are probably the correct ones.

But I'm not holding my breath since rewriting reports can be a messy process.

I've noticed that the numbers seem to be a month off or so...probably still not perfectly accurate, but I know there's always sales listed a month after the current month, and that's what I try to use to guess what I've sold during the current month.

All I know is, either my stuff has started to suck lately, or 'tis hard economic times.  Or all five or so people that buy my stuff own everything by me already and have given up waiting for the next one.  I'm working on 'em, I swear!

What I did was ask what numbers Legend was seeing at the end of the quarter since the "by product" totals report was the one that we thought might still be right. (And wrote down the numbers that I saw first thing in the morning the day after quarter end)

I suppose that must be the case.

I am showing 88 sales under "Sales By Product", but only 59 under "Sales By Year" which covers 2011 and 2012.

I stupidly forgot to send in my W-9 when I started selling last year, and finally noticed it in May and sent it in then. Now, as the end of first quarter of 2012, I was well over the $25 threshold (after accounting for RT's 50% take) according to "Sales By Product", but not according to "Sales By Year". I suppose it will be after the end of this quarter before I get a check.

I suppose we will have to see.

That's assuming that your Sales By Product that you see are correct.  What I saw for our group was off by about 15 when you add up all the riffs vs. what Legend has in their books.

Well, I received an email from Sales today and while they had the W-9 I sent in a few months ago,  they did not have my Used-ID, so they could not send payment.

They told me to send another one, which I did, so hopefully everything is squared away.

Yeah, I'll probably have to do that too because I don't think there's any info they could use to tell my W9 and my rifftrax account are the same person.

They replied and the check will be here within the next week.

Quick turnaround.

So I guess I should stop taking it personally that I haven't sold much in the past three months.
