Look at the code, see how it's not the same as the YouTube page address? You need to click on share under a video and then copy the embed code (you'll also need to click on "use old embed code", then you place it between the code like you'll see if you quote this post. :)

Yeah, though I think it could use some improvement.  I think it's easy once you learn how to do it, but it's not intuitive.  You need to be specifically instructed how.

Tripe explained above, but here's step-by-step instructions in case that's not clear.

1 ) Find a video.  Let's say this one.

2 ) Scroll down below the video and click SHARE.

3 ) Click EMBED.

4 ) Click the box that says USE OLD EMBED CODE.  This will alter the embed code to make it more compatible with the Rifftrax forum.  You'll get something like this:

<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value=";hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=";hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

5 ) Cut the part with the URL between the quotes (see that I've bolded it above).

6 ) Click the little Flash icon on the board's new post page (it's right there below the button for Bold).

7 ) Paste the part you've cut out inside that tag.

8 ) Lastly, you'll probably want to change the size.  It defaults to 200x200, which is kinda small.  It comes in the format flash=200,200, referring to 200 wide and 200 long.  I usually change it to match up the dimensions in the video I'm embedding, which is at the beginning of the Youtube embed code.  Mine is 560 x 315, so the code changes to flash=560,315 inside square brackets.

Hope that helps.

Thanks! I'm the kind of guy that reads complex instructions and works it out myself, but I think I needed the help, Tripe and Thrifty.

Thank you!
