The shorthand description of The FP is that it's "Dance-Dance Revolution meets The Warriors"; what it IS is what The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra tried (with an appalling lack of success) to be. It's a fantastic genre spoof that's prepared to say "fuck off" if you try to "love" it ironically.

Yeah, I kinda <3 this movie. It's absolutely nuts in terms of dialogue (especially the slang) and costume designs, and everyone plays things so wonderfully earnest that it works. I had a great time watching this one, and still try to get that trailer out to as many folks as possible.

That right there is a pretty solid representation of the movie as a whole, and you'll either dig it completely or totally hate it.
