Tough to say if those elephant drawings are good or bad.  On the one side they generate money that helps the elephants, on the other they are not doing it on their own, there is a handler guiding the elephant to move the brush, usually by pinching the ear.  I guess you have to look at it like a job for them, they are not wild any more and never will be.  If it wasn't for the conservation outposts they would be on the way to extinction.
