That is one of the most major WTFs I've run into in a while.  [I mean, I know what it is: 50s-era Superman/Clark Kent turned into a huge number of characters... but why? ]

It's most of a collection of still images like that sandwiched together with transition sauce. As to the initial why, I think "'cause" is the only answer.

But yeah you can resize gifs within the code since that code sets up the frame through which the image appears. since it's a tumblr hosted image, sometimes you can toggle between 25, 400, 500 and 1280 at the end of the url to change the shape as well:

Oh probably, but the ? there isn't because I don't know the character it's likely to be (those are in bold and red) it's part of the conceit; they're like those little packages of figures in which some are more common than others and some are mysteries.

I totally thought the guy in the pink bunny suit was Frank from Donnie Darko. Probably because I blocked anything from A Christmas Story out of my head since violently hate it.
