I don't understand the appeal of animated gif that are just the joke from the film and which require the subtitles, since gifs have no sound, why not just post the video clip?

I admit, I don't either. I also don't get the wall of gifs, each showing the next moment. Just put it all in one damn gif.

People don't have time to sit and stare for 30 whole seconds at a gif in this day and age. Much more efficient to see it all in 3 seconds like a comedy punch in the face. Fuck pacing. What was it they said about comedy?  Timing is I'M ALREADY BORED!
