This is a table with sand, where a steel ball is 'pushed' by magnets underneath to 'cut' paths in the sand in multiple patterns.



There's a 'mini' version of this currently on Kickstarter.

Yeah I was also advertised this and I want one. I’m trying to decide between a small virtual pinball cabinet or one of those. Leaning towards one of those, small table sized. I don’t have anywhere to put the small Kickstarter version. And the coffee table size is too big for my space.

I’ll let you know if I end up getting one. I think I might. The time lapse gif is cool, but I think it’s cooler seeing the steel ball move around on its own.

It came in the mail!  I’ll probably set it up tomorrow after my bicycle ride. I’m sure I’ll post pictures of it here.

Yeah, Imgur gifs seem to be hit or miss if they'll actually cooperate here.
