In the stuff left out of the MST3K version, the best part HAS to be Mr. B. leaving Buzz's room by diving out the window. I cannot believe that got cut from the MST3K version. And the scene at night in Buzz's bedroom before he talks to his parents... Gah. Not to mention the thoughts of his parents. Gee, Dad, you're sure confident in your son...

I know it's probably never gonna happen due to it being so sacred, but hey - if they could do it with Manos...

I don't know.  I don't think I'm prepared to handle that kind of pain.  That short is frightening just with Joel and the Bots.  Yes, they did "Manos", but that was a completely different level of pain.  "Mr. B. Natural" is nightmare fuel in its move extreme form.  I still cant' watch that without squirming.  Exactly what kind of drugs was she on anyway?

It was the FIFTIES.  Morals were weird then.  You could not have a girl jump into a young boy's bedroom. And as for homosexuality, it was simply not acknowledged.  It supposedly just didn't exist--except among the (supposedly) deranged. "Polite society" just ignored it completely.

Similarly, little children weren't seen as potential creepy sex objects, because child molestation was not acknowledged...so a girl too young to have breasts could be topless in an educational short - see "Kitty Cleans Up".

"Mr. B" was supposed to be some sort of elf.  They didn't make "him" look enough like one, though, which is what makes the ad such an "epic fail", to quote an overquoted contemporary phrase. It STILL seems like a chick sneaking into a boy's bedroom and spreading her legs.

Yeah I was pretty shocked by that scene in kitty cleans up.  I can't believe they let that go out like that.
