Trivia fact! The pattern on the butterfly's back in the movie posters is not the natural pattern of the Death's-Head Hawk Moth. It is, in fact, Salvador Dalí's "In Voluptas Mors", a picture of seven naked women made to look like a human skull.

I remember enjoying Unforgiven, but its been so long I can't remember anything about it.  Gonna try to get my hands on it again.

And Silence of the Lambs made my list too.  I remember my mom wouldn't let me watch it, but a friend got it during a sleepover.  I had nightmares for months.  It still creeps me out.

I still haven't seen Silence of the Lambs. After way too many times being bored to tears during so called "thrillers", my rule for horror movies is: if the killer is a human (ie. no powers or anything) I do not care.

Long is the way, and hard, that out of hell leads up to light.

#13 - Seven.

(130 Points) 8 of 32 Lists - Highest Ranking - #1 Sutter Cane

Plot Summary - Held in an unnamed city, follows two homicide detectives track down a bloodthirsty serial killer, to select his victims, according to the seven deadly sins of the story. Brad Pitt stars Detective David Mills, a hopeful, but naive rookie, he found himself with experienced detective William Somerset (Morgan Freeman). With them to trace every step of the murderer, and witnessed the terrible consequences of the offense his victims stacked one by one in quick succession, all close to a terrible fate, neither they can be predicted.

Release Date - September 22nd 1995

Domestic Gross - $100,125,643

Trivia fact! While filming the scene where Mills chases John Doe in the rain, Brad Pitt fell and his arm went through a car windscreen, requiring surgery. This accident was worked into the script of the film. Ironically, the original script did call for Pitt's Det. Mills character to be injured during this sequence--but to something other than his hand.

I swear that they didn't start adding the 7 in Se7en until after its initial release.  I always thought that was stupid.  I'm pretty sure it doesn't show up in the actual movie at all.  It's a great movie though.

Pretty shocked Se7en didn't get higher, it's so good I assumed it would easily crack the top 10.  Will have to re-watch that and Galaxy Quest soon

I wonder how Seven holds up in the light of how explicit horror films have become since.

Trivia fact! The "You think I'm funny?" scene was based on a story that Joe Pesci acted out for Martin Scorsese. While working in a restaurant as a young man, Pesci once told a mobster that he was funny and the mobster became very angry. Scorsese allowed Pesci and Ray Liotta to improvise the scene. He did not tell the other actors in the scene what would happen because he wanted their genuine surprised reactions.

I hated both Seven and Goodfellas, I can't remember if I had T2 on my list or not. If I didn't, then I should have.

crate pee? ???

I was going to say crepe.  Now I'm hungry.

EDIT: None from my list, but I did think of a lot of them.  I like Seven OK, though Fincher has directed much better movies since.  In fact, most of today's were almosts on my list

I still haven't seen Silence of the Lambs. After way too many times being bored to tears during so called "thrillers", my rule for horror movies is: if the killer is a human (ie. no powers or anything) I do not care.

Which is why Darth Geek believes Psycho is inferior to 976-EVIL.
