I prefer Waiting for Guffman to Best in Show.  It may be the music, or it may be my exposure to am-dram and my recognition of certain people in the movie.

It is neck and neck for me.  I think Guffman is funnier than Show, but I tend to think the performances are better in Show.  I love both movies and you can't go wrong with either.

Really, people who voted for Cool as Ice?  This is a movie you genuinely feel affection for?  Because if you are doing it because you thought it would be funny to try and get a terrible movie as high on a list of great/loved movies as possible, then go straight to hell for trying to coordinate that.  If you truly love the movie, even as a guilty pleasure, then fine.  But if you are doing it to market an iRiff, then no!  If you coordinated your choices and discussed it with each other (and I can't imagine you didn't) then no.  You are not participating correctly.

It's not even that it's on the list that bugs me.  It's that it was clearly 3 participants who coordinated to give it as high a ranking as possible rather than 3 people who independently cared for the movie.  It's like when I hear people say "If I known it would have only made it this high I would have put it higher."  Would you have put it ahead of something you love more simply so it can be higher?  Then it defeats the purpose of your list.

Just bugs me is all.

I'm enjoying it.  I usually don't read the summaries, but this time I am.

I'm really hoping that they were written by someone in an Asian country who doesn't speak English, because I love the thought of them trying to watch Waiting For Guffman, and being completely confused by it.

Exactly.  With no offense to any of the past LOC's, I've skipped basically all the cut-and-paste stuff from wikipedia and looked only at the results.  If people feel differently, I guess I don't mind changing it, but...does it matter?
