So there's a Jesse Pinkman movie underway (probably TV movie but I think it remains unspecified).  Look, after the perfection that is Better Call Saul, I'm hesitant to question Vince Gilligan on the quality of something that's just in the inception stage (EDIT: Nope, it goes into production this month) but... I kind of don't want to know much more about the character.  Like, I'd be happy for another story set in that universe following Better Call Saul but I can't think of a character they could follow (don't say Gus.  I love the character but he works best not knowing too much about him).  And I just am kind of happy where they left Jesse the last time he appeared.  Sure, there are questions, but I kind of like not knowing.

I'm a bit hopeful for Detective Pikachu, largely because Alex Hirsch apparently did a pass on the script and I'm a big fan.  That said, I'm surprised they just didn't start with a straightforward pokemon movie.
