RIP Burt Reynolds.
Yeah, poor guy wasn't in the best financial situation last I heard(of course that was a while back, things probably changed since then). There's obviously a lot of iconic roles he's been in, but one of my personal favorites was the time he was a spy on an episode of Burn Notice.

In other news, they're bringing back Superman to the big screen on November 25th. I don't know about you all, but for the LONGEST time the original Superman was my favorite superhero movie... then The Dark Knight happened...Then Avengers happened... then Winter Soldier happened... Then Guardians of the Galaxy happened... Then Civil War happened... then Infinity War happened, okay, you get the idea. Anyways I still love Superman because it's still a movie very close to my heart and you can't help but love that iconic theme that John Williams wrote. The second they post show times, I am picking up a ticket.

Or the movie Drive... which ironically made one woman in particular very angry for some reason.

Space Jam 2...

My first thought is, "Can it be as good as the original?" Then I get nothing but cognitive dissonance for 5 minutes.

I would go watch Space Jam 2 but ONLY if it features Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger.

Nah, it's not ill advised at all. The original stinks, so at worst they'll hit the same level. It's the perfect property to revive.
FINE

Space Jam 2 is such an ill advised idea, it should star the Loonatics.

That’s a deep cut that I can approve. Also, I think WB was waiting for Looney Tunes Back In Action to be completely forgotten despite that it will likely be closer to that than the first Space Jam.

All I keep hearing about Child's Play now is the reboot. Is Don Mancini still making the TV show? I was much more interested in that.
As far as what I've seen and heard of this reboot, I wouldn't have a problem with it if it was called something else. Especially since so much of it seems to be different. I get that the studio has the rights to the name, but given how shared universes are the big thing now, calling it something else but having it tie in the Child's Play (still active) franchise seems like it would be a smarter way to go.

Both versions are still happen (Brad Dourif still attached to the TV version).
