Good evening all. I've only recently discovered the joy of Rifftrax and was pleased to find a community. Greetings from Scotland to you all.   :D

Ayrshire on the west coast.

Wow. That's a golfer's paradise. Royal Troon, Prestwick, Turnberry, historical stuff!

Spent a week in Edinburgh once and loved seeing the sights. The nightlife left quite a bit to be desired. Seems like everything closed up early. Of course, it's quite possible I just didn't know what the hell I was doing. Took the train to Glasgow and pretty much turned right around and came back. What I saw of it was pretty bleak.

Anyway, always nice to have a new member come along.

Parts of Glasgow can be rather bleak as you say. Ayrshire is steeped in history though. Robert burns, William Wallace, the invention of tar-mac, battles, golf courses, castles etc. Nice place to live.
