Papelbon gets a fine and a 7 game suspension for grabbing his crotch while walking off the field. ???
I could see a fine and maybe one game, but 7?

Woo-hoo!

The Isotopes are now the Rockies' AAA affiliate.

I'm not quite sure what this means for the Sky Sox, down in the Springs, but it does mean that our AAA team now have cooler hats.

Living for obscure stats kinda sucks but what the hell:

Jerome Williams becomes the first pitcher ever to beat the same team 3 times in a season playing for 3 different teams.

With Papelbon suspended Ken Giles gets his first big league save.  Something positive for the future.

F-ing Jeter with a walk off hit in his final home game of his career.  What a friggin' joke.  I told my wife before the game that he would either get a meatball for a HR or a walk off hit somehow.  Almost got a HR in his first AB, ends up with a walk off.  Ridiculous.

I hate Jeter. I respect him, I think he was overrated defensively, but I hate him.

Oh great, another year of Fredi Gonzalez.

Glad I'm a Braves fan living in Western New York, so I don't have to watch the inevitable trainwreck day in day out.

Pujols since leaving the cardinals a few years ago has won as many playoff games as my dog.

Good decision!

My heart was pounding for 9 innings in these 4 games against the Dodgers.

I will need more White Russians in round two

And, after 29 years the Kansas City Royals make a record-breaking rally through the play-offs and head into the World Series!

As a Kansas Citian, this is a fantastic day.

Fantasy Baseball season is upon us!  We'd LOVE to have some more people join up this year.  We will have the usual 3 leagues again this year (Roto, Head To Head, & Razzball)

If you're not familiar with Razzball the idea is to draft the worst team possible.  You earn points for getting caught stealing, losing games, errors, blown saves, etc.  Lose points for home runs, wins, etc.  It's weird but kinda fun.

Razzball: Alfredo Aceves Anger Management Club
