Well, Dodgers pulled off a win, so that makes the NLCS interesting.
As for the ALCS...
Well, at this point, win or lose, I must admit to a little Schaudenfreude when I hear the disappointment coming out of Joe Buck. I have nothing against anyone in baseball...except him. And Nick Swisher (but that's nothing personal on his end; just every time I see him I feel like the guy in Stepbrothers who can't stand Will Ferrell's face). He doesn't seem as bad this year as he's been in years past, but he's one of those guys that, unlike most announcers I hear regularly, cannot bring himself to acknowledge good plays by the team he himself hasn't picked as his favorite. It was all "Yankees This, Yankees That" last year, even as they were getting swept in the playoffs.
Is it wrong to want my team to win just so Joe Buck can cry himself to sleep on his solid gold pillow?
