Valentine lost the team the first week of the season, and it was all downhill from there. It wasn't like it was hard to see all this coming, too. Hiring him was a horrible decision. What the hell were they thinking?

I guess all this throws more pressure on the Patriots not to lose.

Yeah, just start barbequing and beer drinking now.

At least you guys are only a few games under .500, Phillies will be lucky to maybe get there by the end of the season, 9 or 10 games under now.  20 fracking games back of the Nats!

Hamels('s?) scoreless streak ends at 23 innings, Brewers get a run in the 2nd, but Phillies up 4 to 1 now in the 3rd.

Wat.  :o

From Rotoworld.com
Quote
The New York Daily News reports that Melky Cabrera created a fake website and a nonexistent product in an effort to prove he inadvertently took the banned substance that led to his suspension.
Impact: Cabrera had the help of Juan Nunez, who is a paid consultant with the agency that represents the outfielder. It didn't work, of course, and it's now possible Melky could face some legal issues, as the Daily News says FDA criminal investigative agent Jeff Novitzky and MLB’s Department of Investigation "have begun looking into Cabrera’s associates and his entourage." There's surely more to come in regards to this bizarre story.

Seriously?!? He should be suspended another fifty games for insulting the intelligence of MLB, fans, and single-celled organisms everywhere.
