I really don't know how to view the postseason right now. Granted, I want the Tigers to nab the World Series this year, after getting into it twice in the past decade and blowing it, but they've been struggling as of late...heck, if they hadn't clinched in Minnesota, they might have had to play Cleveland for the Division champ. And speaking of, Cleveland has been going nuts with its win streak, but I don't know if they can keep the momentum through the postseason or if they blew themselves out trying to get there. Boston has been good all year long and the current best record in the AL, but the Yankees had that distinction last year and got wiped out in four against Detroit, so that's no guarantee either. Tampa Bay eked out against the Rangers at a time when both were fighting tooth and nail to avoid elimination, so they can't be counted out...and hell, the NL was a damn close race for the wild card as well for awhile there (at least, in the Central), even though the division champs had nothing to worry about.
It's a crazy year, and nobody looks like a lock to me. Ought to be fun to watch.
