That stadium looks like something out of an 80s movie. So 35k in attendance for the opener... How long til they're back at the normal 9k?

When is their next home game? Still nicer than the rays dome. That thing was old and outdated the day they moved in.

Next Friday against Houston.

Anything would be better than the old Joe Robbie Stadium. That place was a mausoleum, and they really needed a roof. Apparently, it rains ALL THE TIME in Miami. But seriously, the new stadium looks like it got shot in the face with Homer's make-up gun.

The Rays are still relegated to horrible Tropicana Field, which probably now takes the crown for worst stadium in the league.

Hey nobody else in my family likes watching baseball so I don't really get to follow the teams but now an antena hooked up to the TV in my room but I still don't get to follow them enough to know when they are playing or which network it will be on.  Is there a website out there that will tell me what day and times upcoming games are being played on and what network is showing them?  Thanks.

MLB.com should give you the schedule or at least links to each team site with schedules.

Even if you don't have a hook-up, let me know if there are any sections that i should steer clear of.

You should sit in that one section where the white people sit.

Is it too late for John Henry to call up Wakefield?

Also Bobby V, shut up already. "Beckett is physically fine but mentally damaged"

Does Aceves have an infinite ERA so far for the season? That's good for a closer right? Right? Hello? Hello? Why are the men in the padded van taking me away? This jacket is really constricting. Help!

What is it with the Phillies and Pirates Stadium?  Blowing a 4-1 lead late in the game... arrgggg :grr:

Good news is it seems Vance Worley has picked up right where he left off last year, so a nice FU all those people that were saying he was a one year wonder and they should trade him for someone else.

For our first home game, I always like listening to this:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZkpyZws4bJ8?version=3" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/ZkpyZws4bJ8?version=3</a>

Please note the 1992 date there. Yes, this is 20 years old now.

Gah.

Vladimir Guerrero is in police custody following a bar brawl in the Dominican Republic.

Reports out of the Dominican Republic are saying that Guerrero was involved in an all-night police chase after the incident in question. The 37-year-old is currently at a police precinct in Bani and will be reportedly be charged with physical and verbal assault of an authority.
